Elite’s tip of the week!

Today, I have had a chat with our Sage 200 expert so we can answer one of the questions that a lot of you Sage 200 users have been asking. So the regular question is “Why can I not apply discounts to orders?”. The reason that you can’t apply the discount to your orders is because the sales order processing module has extra user permissions that must be configured in addition to the normal user setup process.

In the module navigate to SOP Utilities> System set up> User permissions and you will come across something that looks like this…

… Here there are further options that are available to control what users can and can’t do when entering orders. Making sure there is a tick box in “override prices and discounts on order lines” will then enable you to apply discounts to orders. I hope you find this information useful.
